This elderly lady was on holiday in Bali when she was injured by a motorcycle. She was put on some antibiotics and given anti inflammatories. Shortly after returning to Australia she developed these blisters on her feet and slightly on the first webspaces of her hands. Her skin tingled in the sun. Clinically this is pseudoporphyria due to her anti inflammatory Brufen.This condition typically has acral blisters but may lack the increased facial hair and skin fragility seen in true porphyria cutanea tarda. Patients also have normal porphyrin studies. Pseudoporphyria can also be seen with uremia and hemodialysis.
