Case from Dr Ian McColl
This lady has previously had psoriasis elsewhere but recently developed these lesions acrally involving the fingers and toes. There were some preceding pustules but they are not evident today. There is marked nail dystrophy. The issue is whether this is simply acral psoriasis or the more unusual variant of acrodermatitis continua of Hallopeau?

I have a feeling this is acral psoriasis rather than the more specific acrodermatitis continua of Hallopeau. The latter has many more pustules and is more painful than this rash.
